THE SPEAR OF DESTINY BOOK COVER
Ben commissioned me to illustrate the cover for His first novel, Kelso pax and the spear of destiny. It’s a great story, indiana jones meets star wars with a good helping of red dwarf with more than a drop of blood! Initially we illustrated a cover in my signature style, on completion – Ben changed his mind and wanted something more graphic and adult – to better reflect his readers- the signature style cover is included here too- for reference.
Alex was brilliant to collaborate with. He worked with me to create an outstanding book cover for my science fiction adventure novel. We kicked around some ideas and refined them into a concept and completed cover that works really well.
As part of the same commission I expanded the work to include the production of a number of spots/thumbnails for my Sci-fi Podcast. Here, Alex was given a specific briefing on what I needed for each image. He delivered the goods! Quick turnarounds, great comms. Will definitely use again.
