I worked with Jet2 as an email designer for about a year, their BAU campaigns are fast-paced and have various stakeholders from the Tourist boards to the Revenue team, so there are a few hoops to jump through and last-minute changes.
The practicality of design for jet2 also involves considering the data-driven aspect of the campaigns whereby destination headlines, prices and creatives can be pulled in dynamically via a spreadsheet and the personalisation of the campaign can involve Firstname or the destination pulled in dynamically onto individual creatives using Movable ink.
Their email templates are also unique in that they have full width banners on desktop with Outlook fallbacks, meaning the hero creatives need to work at 2000×700 and 700×700 px. You’ve also got 5 brands with different guidelines – which is pretty fun!
